This is one of the best Mario adventures you’re going to have ever taken. It’s just like all the classic Mario games you know so well but this is a wonderful flash remake. Someone took a fair amount of time in order to properly make this one. You can tell they really wanted us to enjoy the game. I’m wondering if this is supposed to be a match of what the Nintendo DS version of Mario looks like? Hard telling since I haven’t played the new Mario for Nintendo DS.

Use the arrow keys to move. So, use left/right arrow keys to move left and right. Use the up arrow key to jump. Apparently there is no down button. So, just run around in this game.. collect coins, squish bad guys, and have fun. This game will have you addicted in 20 seconds after playing it. I’m already addicted to it, I shouldn’t have opened it up again! Oh no!

I’m not a big fan of the fact that you can’t adjust whether or not you want to walk or run. You’re just always running. I do also miss being able to go down. I guess there is no way possible this could compare to a Mario game made from Nintendo but for some amateur just making a cool Mario flash game, this is a real great and fun game!

Baseball is America’s past time, no question about that. Personally, I feel that baseball is one of if not the best sport out there.

The game I chose for you today was chosen out a bias view I have towards the wonderful sport of baseball. But, I promise you won’t be disappointed. The game is called Super Slugger and your mission is to hit as many home runs as you can.

If you’ve played a fun game of homerun derby, than you already know the rules around the game. But, for those you who have not, I’ll explain them. Simply, you have 10 outs and every ball that isn’t a homerun is an out. You only get 10 outs and then the game is over. The only way you can avoid getting an out is hitting a homerun.

The pitcher on the mound is going to make hitting a homerun extremely hard. He’s going to pull out a pitch from a wide assortment of pitches that will move all over place. Some of these pitches include a curveball, slider, change up, and high heat (fastball). So, you’ll have to keep a steady eye on each of the pitches and hit them right as the cross the plate. One thing I noticed when I first started playing was that you have to hit the ball a bit early in order to even hit it. Cause if you wait for it to cross the plate, it’ll be too late and you whiff and miss it.

What I suggest is playing a quick round at first until you get used to the speeds and movements of the pitches. Once you’ve master this, start a new game and start hitting some massive homeruns!

This game doesn’t come with instructions. They either assume that 1) you’ve played the first one and automatically know how to play this game or 2) assume that you’ve played a side-scrolling flash game before and already know how this game works. I’ll tell you the truth, I played it and figured it out first try. It is very self explanatory.

You’re on a beautiful journey with beautiful music through beautiful worlds. Use your arrow keys to move around. Use spacebar to use your sword and hit the enemies. Jump on the mushrooms to get further in each level. There will be new enemies and obstacles the further you get. This reminds me of just straight up playing an old classic console game but with new characters, music, and scenery. It’s great!

As long as you follow the instructions while you play the game you won’t get stuck no matte what. You do have to have some patience and diligence to really get into this game. If you are thinking about playing this game, grab some coffee, pull up your chair, and get started! It’s going to be a long and very exciting adventure!

If you like defense games like Tower Defense, Warcraft.. especially Warcraft 3 (there’s a really popular tower defense game for Warcraft 3.. or at least popular around here. I don’t know I’ve never really been a huge Warcraft fan until recently so I’m really behind on all of that)… Anyways, if you like you those games then you’ll love this game cause you’ll already know how to play it. They’ve upgraded the graphics a lot for this one.

For those of you that don’t know how these defense games work:
Your task is to build the ideal defense system to protect your city. Build your defense in preparation for the attacks. The next wave is displayed at the bottom of your control panel. You build your defense using the different towers available in the Control Panel. The towers will attack the enemies that come within their shooting range. To build a tower - make a selection in the control panel, then move the cursor to a vacant space on the map (on the rocks, not the road) and click to place. To proceed to the next attack click “PLAY” or press the spacebar.

You can select from 3 different levels and also 3 different difficulty levels. That sounds confusing but it really isn’t. They walk you through that in the game really nicely. A missile turret costs $100 each and you start out with $350. That’s not very much, if you do good you’ll level up quickly and be able to buy much better defense. Enjoy the game!

Growing up I fell in love with all things rockets. No surprise that as I grew up a bit, I gravitated towards creating my own speedy rocket. But, as any rocket builder knows, you’ll experience many trials and tribulations.

The game that I have for you today is called Rocket Man and you need to help him out by getting his rocket to land directly in the middle of the target. Use your Mouse to direct your rocket towards this target.

At times steering can become extremely difficult and to make things even crazier is the limited amount of time each rocket has before it explodes. Similar to a real rocket, this one blows up once the spark has reached the fuse, so you need to act quickly! Also, each level becomes progressively harder than the others. You’ll notice though, that each level contains a different amount of fuel, solely depending on its difficulty.

As a bonus, if you beat this game in hard mode, you not only get to go against a boss, but you get new rocket styles to choose from. Some levels may require you to use a couple of rockets to blow up the surrounding hills and rock that’s surrounding your human target. Did I say human target? That’s correct; I forgot to mention that your target is a human.

The controls in this game are fairly easy. To shoot a rocket all you have to do is left click your mouse and then use your mouse to guide your rocket. As I mentioned earlier, some levels may require you to destroy some obstacles before you can get your rocket to your target in a timely manner. Have Fun!

A recent machine malfunction at your station has required you to go on a repair mission. But, once you got started, you accidentally dropped your wrench into the deep and darkness of the sea.

Having said that, you need to go from level to level collecting all of the live icons located throughout the deep sea. These icons will prove crucial to your survivor in the always unstable and dangerous sea.

Unfortunately, the placements of these extra live icons are extremely dangerous. They will require you to jump from platform to platform in order to retrieve them all. You’re goal is to work your way down the deep and dark sea collecting all of the free lives until you reach the placement of your missing wrench. Once you’ve found the wrench, use it to repair the station.

The controls in this game can prove to be quite tricky at the beginning. Each time you want to jump, you have to choose an angle. The faster you run, the more powerful your jump will be. The sequence of a normal jump will require you to first press and hold the right arrow key until you reach a safe distant in which you want to make the jump. Upon arrival press the up arrow key and then press the up arrow key when you’re satisfied at the jumping angle.

One item that I really like about this game is how the beginning levels are tailored to a beginning player. Nothing worse than playing a game in which you have no idea what the controls are, or how to use them. Before each level starts, a help screen will appear with the controls of the game and ending location within the level. I found this extremely useful when I started playing this game, and I think you will find this equally as helpful.

Fuzzy Mcfluffenstein 3 has just been released and boy does it ever live up to the hype. There’s two different game modes to choose from, the timed and kitty quota mode.

The timed mode gives you only 2 minutes to kill as many mice and hamsters as you can. Each kill will give you back a small amount of much needed time. The kitty quota mode’s objective is to kill the required amount of enemies before time runs out.

These aren’t your typical mice though because they’re strapped with jet packs and submachine guns. So, to combat and kill these mice you must either jump on top of them or run each and every one of them over. You’ll want to kill them fast though because they’ll quickly mount up a force of them and attack you all at one time. What I found to be extremely helpful and useful is to be on the offensive rather the fighting off the attacks. To do this I recommend setting up the mice and cornering them. Once you’ve got them cornered, you can use one of your deadly combo moves and dispose of them quickly and efficiently.

I’ve always been a fan on the Mcfluffenstein, but one thing kind of concerns me. That concern is the amount of blood featured throughout the game. Kids are a huge makeup of gaming population and this amount of blood and gore might not sit well with their parents. But, if you can get overcome all of the gore and realize that it’s just a game, then I think you will see that this game is an instant classic.

The game is called Lost Your Marbles and the object of the game is to collect all of the marbles while moving around the maze. And that’s the easy part. The game is constantly maneuvering you around the maze while you’re trying to collect all of the marbles.

But, be careful there’s a lot of obstacles within the maze and if you don’t watch out the walls can sneak up on your and give you a real knockout punch. Located throughout the maze are black and white swirly circles that’ll give you an extra bump in any direction. So, it’s imperative that you be keep an eye out for these little buggers, otherwise they can send you towards the surrounding walls.

Having said that, it’s your time to fight back and win some extra lives by simply completing the levels quickly. Remember, your first goal is complete each level by collecting all of the marbles. As you gain confidence, you can then try to finish a level in the quickest time possible.

This game is an instant classic and we would like to thank Real Games for submitting this game into us for a game review. I haven’t played this game in years and honestly forget about how much fun I had playing it. Because of that, I’m adding it into my sacred hall of fame game list, Shawn’s Top 10!
